Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about using Ranks Arena.

Is Ranks Arena free?

Yes, athletes use the platform for free — searching arenas, requesting to join, following tournaments and having a public profile costs nothing. Arenas and training centers have plans with limits on tournaments, rankings and athletes; check the available plans in the arena owner area.

How do rankings work?

Each ranking belongs to an arena and can be ongoing or season-based. Positions are recalculated automatically after every recorded result, based on wins, losses, differential and accumulated points, following the points table configured by the arena.

Which tournament formats are supported?

Single elimination, double elimination, round robin, groups followed by knockout, swiss, league with playoffs, home-and-away, king of the beach, and ladder. The bracket is generated automatically for all of them.

How does a referee fill in a match report?

The arena owner generates a unique link for the match or tournament. The referee opens that link on their phone — no account needed — and records the score, sets and notes. The result automatically updates the bracket and the ranking.

How do I, as an athlete, join an arena?

Create your athlete account, search for the arena where you play, and request to join. The arena owner approves or declines the request; once approved, you can be entered into that arena's tournaments and rankings.

Are scores and brackets updated in real time?

Yes. During tournaments, any score update shows up instantly for everyone following the tournament page, with no need to reload.

Which sports does the platform support?

Beach tennis, tennis, padel, volleyball, futsal, and more. If your sport uses a score, teams or pairs, and a tournament bracket, it likely works on Ranks Arena.

What shows up on an athlete's public profile?

Name, sports played, arenas they're linked to, titles and placements in each finished tournament, and their current position in each ranking they take part in.

Is my data public?

Athlete and arena profiles are public by default, to allow search and tournament discovery. Sensitive data, such as payment information and the arena's internal settings, is never exposed publicly. See our Privacy Policy for more.

Can I cancel my request to join an arena?

Yes. While your request is pending, you can cancel it at any time from your athlete profile.

How do I become an arena owner on the platform?

Create an account and choose the arena/training center profile during sign-up. You'll be able to set up your arena and create tournaments and rankings according to your plan.

Does the platform work on mobile?

Yes, Ranks Arena works straight from the browser on your phone, tablet or computer — no app installation required.
